ALMURBIY ("we", "our", or "us") operates a delivery and ordering platform for pet supplies and related products. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use the ALMURBIY mobile application, our website, and related services.
Information We Collect
We collect information you provide when creating and using your account, including your Libyan mobile phone number, name, email address, delivery location, home location, and date of birth. We also collect order details, delivery notes, payment status for online orders, and—during active deliveries—location data shared by drivers to enable order tracking. If you enable notifications, we store a device token and your preferred app language to send order updates.
How We Use Your Information
Your information is used to create and manage your account, send SMS verification codes to your Libyan mobile number during registration, process and deliver orders, send order status notifications, verify your identity, process online payments for order items, communicate with you about your orders, and improve our services. Delivery locations are shared with assigned drivers solely to fulfil your orders.
Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely on encrypted servers. Authentication tokens are stored locally on your device using secure storage. We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure.
Third-Party Services
We use trusted third-party providers to operate our services, including Resala for SMS verification codes during account registration, Firebase Cloud Messaging for push notifications, TLYnc for online payment processing, and cloud hosting providers. These services process data according to their own privacy policies. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Your Rights & Choices
You may update your profile information at any time within the app. You can disable push notifications in your device settings. You may request account deletion from within the app or via our account deletion page at https://www.almurbiy.ly/delete-account, which removes your profile and personal data subject to legal retention requirements. You can sign out at any time, which removes locally stored authentication credentials from your device.
Children
Our services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us so we can delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page and update the effective date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
